Today we started constructing the experiment that we will be conducting next week. The main question we are asking is whether a subject's gaze pattern will be affected depending on cognitive stimulus.
The control group will be asked to view a series of 12 or so paintings. We hope to learn whether or not being asked to recall something will affect the participants gaze pattern.I believe that additional cognitive stimulus will indeed affect gaze patterns because the participant may be looking more intently at the art to try and memorize some of the features better.
