Today we went to the Red Barn for some team building exercises. We were presented with several challenges, which increased in difficulty. The challenges we were presented included: tossing an octopus, aptly named Oscar around the circle to getting the entire group to stand on a plank of wood to escape sabre-tooth chipmunks. I fell that we learned a lot from engaging with one another to solve the problems presented to us.
After lunch, I was given an in depth introduction to the the science of vision. It was very interesting, but a bit overwhelming as a large amount of material was presented in such a short amount of time. Despite this, I am eager to learn more about the eye-tracker system and begin work on the project.
